How
long ago
did we meet?
I bought an Android
After your boss told me
My iPhone was useless
Foolishly I hung onto it
Brought it back to life
Breathing talk and text
Into my
rose colored
box
Was that your idea?
Or mine?
There is a picture here
Of my oldest daughter
That makes me cry
I have some cash now
But it is a small pile
I was in love once
Yesterday I saw him again
Will you become irrelevant?
While I unravel like yarn
Missing a set of needles
Twisting into primitive knots
I need to do my own thing
Love means letting go
Therefore I shall
Disregard this memo
Apparently
it was meant
For someone else.

P.S. I forgive you.
Treating myself kindly
Will be much harder
Thanks for the pink shirt
Your
turquoise tie
Changed my life
Silly me. Lonely you.
But we'll get through
Somehow
...

The Language of Letting Go
Dream log: June 11, 2017

for light and transient causes
Here is gone
Gaily they went down in the lush field a treasure of valuables or specie or bullion lodged with a crust of bread into her coat of arms weaving currying the embroidering of silk in summer.
Goodbye
do not open that door
his boots empty
in the starlight of our discontent
