Teleport Inc. is an ISP in Portland, OR. It was one of the first large ISP's in the nation and was a pretty progressive place back in the day. Now it is bloated and festering. Mim and Matt used to work there. So did I. So did almost all of the Lobsters.
Teleport is also a word to describe the disassembly of matter in one location and reassembly of it in another, ala Star Trek
