Originally started as an enthusiast's club in 1980 at MIT and Princeton, SEDS grew to a diverse range of chapters at Ivy League colleges, community colleges and high schools across the world. Each chapter has a different focus ranging from ambitious projects involving designing new satellites to pizza and movie nights.
SEDS provides a booklet including the club's constitution and ideas for interesting activities that can be done at different levels of interest.
