Located in the heart of downtown Montreal in the beautiful city of Westmount. The college is named after Sir William Dawson, a McGill University principal from 1855 to 1893.
Housed in the Mother House of the Congrégation de Notre-Dame, a century-old building having gone through extensive renovation. Students are surrounded by 12 acres of green space and occupies an entire city block between de Maisonneuve Blvd. and Sherbrooke St.. You can also reach the college using the underground tunnel to the Atwater metro station.
With over 10,000 enrolled students in over fifty programs. Dawson College was the first English-language CEGEP in Quebec.
The College has over 30 state-of-the-art computer labs equipped with over 700 computers. Has an impressive two-storey high library in the center of the old chapel. And you can also find three modern underground gymnasiums.
