One of the assumptions of (most) human religions is that God is human, in that he acts like a human being, with human emotions, and human feelings.

This is unlikely. Human thinking is not universal, but specific to how we evolved. Octopuses, for example, are one of the most intelligent creatures on Earth, but do not think like us, and would not do so even if they evolved to human-level intelligence. Octopus minds are suited for the life they live.

Our mind was evolved for a tribal life on the plains of Africa. The minds of aliens would be suited for the life they live.

What would the mind of a being that could create universes be like?
