Al Lowe is, by his own admittance, the oldest
computer game designer. He is also responsible for one of the naughtiest to ever be published by a
respectable software company (at least,
Sierra WAS a
respectable software company back then).
The games I'm talking about, of course, were the Leisure Suit Larry series.
He is also responsible for designing half of Freddy Pharkas - Frontier Pharmacist (the other half was taken care of by Josh Mandel), as well as designing several kids (!) games before he thought of Larry.
He is a big fan of jazz, and plays the alto sax. The saxophone at the start of Larry 7 is actually Al playing.
