A small, independent festival held almost annually on the Heckler Farm near Indian Valley, Pennsylvania. A reference librarian at the Indian Valley Public Library told me that it is 'almost annual' depending on whether enough volunteers sign up to do demos. The theme of the festival is Pennsylvania farm life and crafts.

If you go, you might meet folks from the Mennonite Historians of Eastern Pennsylvania. Stop by their table!

Don't wear a straw hat! I did a couple of years ago and strangers kept coming up to me and asking detailed questions about the exhibits. I stammered and answered as best as I could from my general knowledge. Finally, one of the Hecklerfest organizers chewed me out for my ignorance. It turns out that a straw hat was the sign to recognize volunteers who were supposed to be able to answer visitor's questions!
