Saltwater swamps, especially in tropical regions, are often
populated with
mangrove trees as well as
crocodiles.
Saltwater swamps can be found in
New Guinea,
Indonesia,
Kenya, the
Republic of Congo, along the Mekong River in
Vietnam, and along the
Ganges River in
India,
Puerto Rico, the Gulf Coast of southern
Florida, and the
Atlantic coast of
Brazil.
