I studied philosophy and mathematics at uni, never taking grades seriously but instead actually attempting to strive for a reconcilable system.  I also have an addiction to adventure in mountainous regions, which also derailed my professional pursuit of truth.  Somehow in the mix I ended up in personal finance, following the almighty dollar instead of inspiration.  Since my daughter benefits from the income I really don't mind, as long as I can participate in stimulating discussions in my free time.
