Bearsden is a suburb of
Glasgow, The largest city in
Scotland. Bearsden is situated on the Northwest border and Glasgow and borders the neighbourhoods of
Drumchapel,
Knightswood,
Maryhill,
Anniesland and
Milngavie.
Bearsden is famed for being the furthest frontier of the Roman Empire, circa 1st and 2nd centuries CE. While The Roman armies did reach Bearsden and construct the Antonine Wall they did not settle North of Hadrians Wall
There is no tourist appeal to Bearsden (although there are some ruins of a Roman Bath House) and being a residential area the nightlife besides a few pubs and restaurants is almost non existent.
