When you run
Linux on an
Atari Falcon, you soon notice that the power of a 16
MHz 68030 isn't fast enough to handle the large graphical
system called
X11.
To get around this problem, oFBis was written, so that graphics could be written directly to the framebuffer, without the extensive features found in the larger systems.
Among other ways, oFBis is one of the output targets provided by the oVDIsis library.
oFBis is part of the OSIS project.
