A
concert video of the
progressive rock group
Rush. It shows a concert from their
Hold Your Fire tour of the 80's. It features the
trio when they were putting out shorter, space-age sounding songs that attempted to fuse the sounds of the 80's into their brand of music. Watch out for
Geddy Lee, who sports a low cut white shirt that displays his chest hair. Also, his long, curly hair, put into a ponytail, makes him look very very female. Also be prepared to swallow some crazy 80's-ness. The cartoons displayed on the large screen behind the trio is very 80s, as is most of the music actually. This video is worth getting solely for The Rhythm Method, a 5 minute drum solo stuck in after the end of YYZ.
Neil Peart goes nuts on this solo, which will amaze even hardcore Rush fans. Also at the end of the video, you can see some of the goofy side of Rush. The video features:
The Big Money
Marathon
Turn the Page
Prime Mover
Manhattan Project
Closer to the Heart
Red Sector A
Force Ten
Mission
Territories
The Rhythm Method
The Spirit of Radio
Tom Sawyer
