So I figured I should actually say something about myself here:

My Myers-Briggs personality type is INTJ, like all computer scientists. However, I am almost exactly borderline in both E/I and P/J, but I am very strongly NT, which makes me a Rational.

My SparkMatch Registry type is "Drama Queen". I wasn't sure how I felt about that until I saw that my male counterpart is "Conquistador". That made me feel better. So, I am an Independent Evil Love Taker.

Other than that, I am a graduate student at Carnegie Mellon University. More specifically, I'm a first-year PhD student in the Robotics Institute, which is part of the School of Computer Science. I don't have a project yet, but I'll be sure to mention it when I do.

I met sensei for the first time last night. He asked me about the origin of my name, and said he would look at my home node for it later. So, of course, I will write a little about it.

Maayan is an Israeli name. In Hebrew, Maayan means "water spring". It is pronounced "mah-ah-YAN", with a slight emphasis on the last syllable.
