The Pope is Jewish

The first Pope was Jewish. At least, the Catholic Church considers St. Peter to have been the first Pope.

Many of his successors were quite anti-Jewish, which is quite strange considering Jesus was Jewish, his disciples were all Jewish, and, for that matter, the first generation of Christians were all Jewish.

Logically, for any Christian to be anti-Jewish should mean they are anti-Jesus. Then again, who says humans are logical?

Until recently, one of the cardinals, the Archbishop of Paris, was born a Jew. Jean-Marie Cardinal Lustiger was considered a likely successor to Pope John Paul II, as he agreed with the pontiff's very conservative views.

It is worthy to note that there has never been a pope who has taken the name of Peter. A religion teacher of mine postulated that if Lustiger (or anyone else born Jewish) had become Pope, and he takes the name of Peter, the apocalypse will come.
